High Cove is a multi-disciplinary construction and contracting company serving clients across London and the surrounding counties.

After exploring a number of different builders, we settled on Rob Gale and his team at High Cove. Our house is an old 3 story Edwardian House in Twickenham which we purchased with a total renovation in mind.

Demolition included taking all internal walls back to studs and bare brick. Significant engineering work was undertaken to enable relocation of internal walls, converting the house to five bedrooms and five baths with a family / kitchen addition / extension. All plumbing, underfloor heating, and electrical upgrades (smart home) have been completed by the team.

The house is now over 2850 square feet and nearing completion. We have had onsite a full-time project manager since 4th September 2023, and the multi-talented team, typically between 6 and 8 people per day have worked tirelessly to meet our completion deadline of April 15. We found the team responsive, able to work to both time and costs, and working to provide the highest quality finishes. We are already looking at another project with High Cove.

Rob Gale and High Cove Ltd are very good builders and we consider ourselves fortunate to have ‘found them’ to construct the exterior and interior of our project.

We put 2 small houses together in Kensington London, with the work completed in September 2020. The properties were 90% demolished and rebuilt as a single dwelling with a double basement. Rob is very knowledgeable, straight forward and does what he says he will do. His building team are dedicated, trustworthy and complete the work to a high standard. The craftsmanship is excellent, the people are friendly and very nice to work with.

We have worked with High Cove on various projects of differing sizes in recent years. We have found their approach to be very proactive and sensible. They are not contractual and in competition we have found them to be very competitive.

One of the main advantages is that Robs crew are long term employees who are capable of very high-quality work. Having Rob as the main point of contact is also a big advantage.

The projects we worked on included new basements and whole house renovations but also specific smaller projects that fall into the category of maintenance which they have applied equal attention to.

Robert Gale and his High Cove team fully remodelled and refurbished our penthouse flat in Covent Garden in 2022. We have 1950 sq feet and 2 terraces. They sourced material of the highest quality and worked on our property for 9 months, from structural works to high end finishes throughout.

Robert and his team were extremely professional and highly skilled. The workmanship was of a very high standard and Robert’s excellent management skills lead our project to be delivered on time and on budget. We have been extremely pleased with High Cove services and result they produced. We would highly recommend High Cove.
